This sterling silver, blue Murano Glass bead is handmade in Dublin. It fits all of the "well-known" bead bracelets. This Spiral design is steeped in Celtic myth and lore of Newgrange. The Celtic Spiral is one of Ireland's most mythical symbols found carved into the stones that stand guard the entrance to Newgrange. The most famous of the three megalithic mounds in the Boyne Valley, the original meaning of this Newgrange Spiral is unknown. It is said that the swirl stands for death, birth and rebirth represented in the flow of the spiral.
