The Chalice widely recognized as the most important piece of Celtic art found in Ireland and is the centerpiece of the national collection. A girdle of ten filigree panels of animal design, interlacing and shield decoration surrounds the neck of the chalice. Handcrafted in 10K or 14K yellow or white gold and hallmarked at the Irish Assay Office in Dublin Castle.
